# Analytics

> Cart value, cart count, average cart value, draft orders, top products and shopper locations over any date range.

Open **Analytics** from the app menu to see how carts are trending in your store.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Analytics needs the **Advanced** plan or above. On lower plans the charts are blurred and show an upgrade prompt.

## Choose a date range

Use the date picker at the top of the page. Presets:

**Today** · **Yesterday** · **Last 7 days** · **Last 30 days** *(default)* · **Last 90 days** · **Last 365 days**

Or pick a start and end date on the calendar to set a custom range. Each card shows the selected range in its footer.

For a single day, charts are grouped into 3-hour blocks. For longer ranges they show one point per day.

## The cards

| Card | What it measures |
| - | - |
| **Total carts value** | The combined value of carts with items, by when the shopper was last active. |
| **Total carts count** | How many carts had items in the range. |
| **Average cart value** | Total carts value ÷ total carts count. |
| **Draft Orders created from the app** | Carts in the range that have a draft order created through Cart Manager. |
| **Top products in carts** | The five products with the highest quantity across all carts in the range. |
| **Customers by location** | The five countries your shoppers came from most often. |

All values are shown in your store's currency.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Analytics looks back at most **60 days**, and never further than your plan's [history retention](https://codebeans-customer-cart-manager.mintlify.site/plans-and-billing.md#plan-comparison). Choosing a longer preset shows the data that's available within that window.

## Ideas for using analytics

> **Spot products that get carted but not bought**
>
> Compare **Top products in carts** with your best sellers in Shopify Analytics. A product that's carted often but rarely ordered may have a pricing, shipping or stock problem.

> **Staff support at busy times**
>
> Select **Today** or **Yesterday** to see which 3-hour blocks have the most cart activity, and make sure someone is watching the [Live Carts](https://codebeans-customer-cart-manager.mintlify.site/carts/dashboard.md) tab then.

> **Measure assisted selling**
>
> Track **Draft Orders created from the app** month by month to see how much revenue your team recovers by helping shoppers directly.
